What is Generic Internet Robot?
It is a software, that collects and stores any required data over internet.
Generic Internet Robot can collect any number of required data from different sources of different formats;
and store them on any database.
Which Data Sources are Supported?
Robot software can collect data from the following types of sources: HTML, XML, RSS, PDF, CSV, ODF, Excel, Word. Sites that require user authentication or pages running with AJAX / Javascript and postbacks are supported.
How is Generic Internet Robot Used?
Generic Internet Robot can bu used to monitor a constantly changing set of data, to process and compare the data collected
and to be notified about the instant changes in values. As an example, Generic Internet Robot is being used in one of our projects -
BenzinAl.com, to collect the data published.
In this project, Generic Internet Robot processes about 50K values every hour.
